Alhambra
I recently visited the Alhambra Palace and after its build up as the most beautiful place on earth I must admit that I wasn’t sure I would put it at the top of my list. I think I was partly put off by the crowds of tourists. But it provoked endless discussions about places we have visited and separating man-made and natural it was still impossible to produce a definitive list in order of magnificence. It depends so much on light and weather and temperament etc. Never the less … what a wealth of wonderful patterns!! My sketch book and camera were soon full and I have enough material for many more pieces. |
