Linda's Stitching

Hi and welcome. I hope you enjoy looking at my stitching.
I get my kicks from pulling a needle and thread through fabric and you will find here images of my unique textile pieces and information about exhibitions where you can see them. I think of myself as an embroiderer, but this does not adequately describe pieces that might include fabric, paper, fibres, wire, beads etc. 

I recently came across a quotation from embroiderer Francoise Tellier-Loumague which says “to embroider is to draw, paint and write; to look, analyse, choose, explore and translate; to create and innovate; to develop and elaborate; to express yourself and communicate.” 
What a lovely way to spend your life!
